Patchogue wildlife control tip of the month:
Hello, David. :) My name is Maria and I have a home in Long Island, New York. I came across your animal in the attic
web page and have been navigating your site for the past hour or so, it is very well put together, thank
you! Now, clearly, I have a problem and am seeking even more feedback and answers...
Since about Christmas I have been hearing sounds Patchogue animal control coming from the attic/unfinished upstairs area.
Started out seldom at first, but I have been hearing a LOT of scampering, chewing and moving about
on the ceiling and I think in the walls at night Patchogue animal control around 10 p.m. (this is the only time everything
is finally turned off for the night to where I would be able to hear) and up until about 1 a.m. at
times over the past week... I went upstairs (where it is nearly just as cold as it is outside due to
little to no heat up there, as it is unfinished where there is some bare flooring and lots of open
insulated flooring) to find probably 5 or 6 droppings Patchogue pest control on each step leading up there, lots of bits
of insulation tossed about and the end of each step chewed on as well as some of the wood flooring
upstairs in random places. There are more Patchogue pest control droppings surrounding the stairs on the upstairs flooring
and banister, but I didn't see much of it anywhere else.
The droppings appear to be squirrel or rat droppings due to size and overall appearance. They were
all mostly black, maybe a deep dark brown but definitelyPatchogue pest control not as many as it seems I should expect? I
placed a small sized havahart trap up at the top of the stairs with an Oreo cookie topped with a gob
of peanut butter inside of it. Left it up there Patchogue wildlife removal last night when I was still hearing noises, checked
it this morning, and nothing. The food was left untouched. So tonight, I decided to leave the trap
up as it was and this time I turned and left on Patchogue wildlife removal all the lights upstairs. I haven't heard a peep all
night and it is currently 3 in the morning. What does this likely mean?
Are squirrels or rats deterred by the light to where they won't want to enter at night as usual? Do
I not actually have anything living upstairs, but rather Patchogue animal trapping just coming in to... do what? Play about,
chew on stuff, look for a way to get downstairs? Also, we have a ton of what I think are fox squirrels
heavily populating the area, as well as many coons and Patchogue animal trapping opossum, but I have never seen rats about...
Mice though, as a single one got in downstairs once a few years back
