Sayville wildlife control tip of the month:

Hi David, I’ve lived in the same house in Long Island, New York for 46 years, a row house. I have NEVER even SEEN a rat in my entire life! I have gotten the occasional Sayville animal control mouse over the years – set a trap and that’s it.

About 3 weeks ago I heard a noise in my ceiling between Sayville animal control the first and second floors – called an exterminator for $100 he set mouse traps and left. The next day I saw it and it looked bigger than a mouse so I called a 24 hour exterminator for $150 he set rat traps – inspected the Sayville pest control house – told me where to seal up and left – I caught 2 RATS that night! I figured out that the one in my bedroom came out of a radiator cover that has two legs and a gap in the Sayville pest control front (the only one in my house like that) so my fiance removed all the radiator covers upstairs and drilled sheet metal around all the pipe holes and he drilled a 3” piece of plywood in front of the gap in that one radiator cover of mine.
